Ingredients

Units Scale
  • One 12ounce wide mouth mason jar
  • One red onion, super thinly sliced
  • One tablespoon of sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 cup of vinegar

Instructions

  1. Add onions, sugar, salt, and vinegar to the mason jar.
  2. Put the lid on and give it a good shake to mix everything up.
  3. Set aside for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes

A jar of pickled onions will keep in the refrigerator for about two weeks.
