Margherita Pizza
Who doesn’t love the simplicity of a good Margherita pizza? Fresh basil is so flavorful and definitely the star of a delicious Margherita pizza. But really what can make this Margherita pizza extra special is quality fresh ingredients: homemade dough, fresh tomato sauce, fresh basil, a vine-ripe tomato, and high-quality mozzarella. With only a handful of ingredients go big and source out the best local options you can find.
This is hands down my kid’s favorite type of pizza but sometimes we add pineapple too. Let your kids experiment and choose their favorite toppings, no matter how strange. This pizza recipe is a great foundation for simply delicious pizza sauce and an awesome crunchy crust, but you get to take it from there and make it your own. One of my favorite parts of pizza night is getting everyone together in the kitchen to roll out the dough and put toppings on the pizza. Pizza night is such a great family cooking activity for all ages!
