Whip up this easy lemon hummus in less than 5 minutes. This zesty homemade hummus is seasoned with garlic, onion, cumin, and lemon juice. It’s delicious as a dip for veggies or a spread for wraps. Yum!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 15oz can of garbanzo beans, drained
  • 1 tablespoon of finely ground sesame seeds (or tahini)
  • 1/2 tablespoon of garlic powder
  • 1/2 tablespoon of onion powder
  • 1/2 tablespoon of cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt
  • Juice of one lemon
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon of water

Instructions

  1. Drain the can of garbanzo beans and add the beans to a blender.
  2. Add all remaining ingredients—ground sesame seeds, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, salt, lemon juice, olive oil, and water. Blend until smooth, occasionally scraping down the sides.
  3. Serve and enjoy, yum!

Notes

Keeps in the refrigerator for up to 6 days.
