Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 tomatillos, chopped
  • ½ jalapeño, minced (for mild)
  • 1 clove of garlic, minced
  • ½ cup of fresh cilantro
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • ½ of a small red onion, diced
  • 2 large ripe avocados
  • Salt to your liking

Instructions

  1. Add the tomatillos, jalapeño, cilantro, garlic, and lime juice to the bowl of a food processor or blender. Blend all ingredients until they are mixed. It doesn’t need to be smooth, but no large chunks of tomatillo.
  2. Add the red onion to the food processor mixture and pulse a couple of times until the onion is finely chopped.
  3. Mash the avocados in a medium-size bowl using a fork.
  4. Then add ingredients from the food processor to the bowl with avocados. Give it a mix until everything is evenly incorporated. Add salt to your liking.
  5. Serve immediately and enjoy!
